Terry Family Reunion
Saturday, October 3rd
2026
Rockville, Utah
Back to Where It All Began
East of St. George and past the longest turn in the world, nestled between towns of ghosts and tourists lies Rockville, a still small town that is our origin and this October yet again our destination.Â
After a great 2024 reunion in Brian Head, we'll be heading back to Rockville for the next one. The "talent" show, the hikes, the family, the fun, it's all happening. If you're a member of the Terry clan and are willing to admit to it, we'd love to have you join us! Just RSVP (using the REGISTER link above) so we know you're coming.
This year we're switching it up a bit to try to be there when it's a little less hot and a little less crowded. This means instead of a weekend in the summer, we'll be getting together in the fall - specifically the first weekend of October. To make it easier for folks to do everything, we've also compressed the reunion to a single day - Saturday, October 3rd. We look forward to seeing you then!
Please join our Facebook group for updates and discussion.
SCHEDULE
Saturday, October 3rd
9:00am - Breakfast at the ball field (NOTE - We're still looking into this. Might not be able to do this. If not, we'll do a hike. We'll keep you posted.)
10:00am - Softball game (See note above)
5:30pm - Dinner at the Rec Hall
7:00pm - The Talent Show
Lodging
Some have asked about hotel or lodging recommendations near the area. Here are some resources along those lines, which will be updated if more recommendations or information becomes available. We recommend getting lodging as soon as you know you'll be attending.
Hotels - Springdale has become quite the tourist town, and so there are many hotel options there, although they can get expensive. You can find some options here. Places groups of Terrys have stayed on previous family reunions, and that are somewhat special to the town, include:
The owners of Under the Eaves Inn are friends, so if you stay there please tell them Becky Heal and Jim Catano recommended it.
If you're interested in camping, Rockville is of course right by Zion National Park, one of the greatest national parks in the world, and so there are some great places there, but you should reserve them early.
Besides these options, AirBnB and VRBO will usually have some good options. If you're willing to be a bit farther out for less money, there are less expensive options in La Verkin.
If you have other suggestions for this section, please let Dylan know!
